Brian is a registered patent attorney and is admitted to the bars of the states of New York and California, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California.
Brian has practiced intellectual property law for more than fifteen years and counsels clients in a wide variety of matters relating to patents. He prepares and prosecutes domestic, international and foreign national patent applications, and handles reexaminations, reissues and various petitions before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Brian also provides opinions on patent validity, infringement, patentability and right-to-use, and performs IP due diligence.
Brian has experience in a range of electrical, mechanical and computer technologies, including electronic control systems, computer hardware and software, semiconductors, sensors, display systems, optics, medical devices, telecommunications, and financial systems. Brian also has experience with Internet-related and business method patents.
